Thank you to the many generous donors that made this possible. Our Patron Saint’s Campaign, that was started in the fall of 2016 to finance this truck, was a huge success.

One of the essential tools to keep our operation functioning 5 days a week is transportation.  We desperately needed a new truck to pick up donations and deliver household good and furniture to our refugees.  Our old truck has supported over 5,000 families in the past 11 years and was in constant need of repair.  To say it was very unreliable was an understatement.

For many in the Rochester community our white Saint’s Place truck and grey van are symbols of hope.  When the truck arrives at its destination, the neighbors, as well as the new refugee family, know that they are beginning their new life in Rochester.  The long, arduous journey is behind them, new challenges await them, but they are safe and ready to face a new tomorrow.

150 + refugees each month have obtained huge amounts of clothing from our Clothing Closet.

60% increase in the number of refugees in the last six months
